Overview
Chalet Chouette is right in the centre of Morzine only 50 m from the Tourist Office, outdoor ice rink and only a 3 minute walk from either Pleney or Super Morzine telecabines. Chalet Chouette has 4 bedrooms: 3 spacious twin/doubles each with their own bathroom then a family suite, comprising of 2 rooms, a twin room plus a twin/double room, these 2 rooms then share a shower room and separate toilet.
All the beds are luxury zip and link beds that can be made up into super kings. The vaulted ceilings with the exposed beams and the floor to ceiling windows mean this chalet apartment is flooded with natural light and enjoys sunlight throughout the day. There is an open plan sitting/dining room with a log burner and plenty of stylish sofas to chill out on after a hard days skiing. The chalet has an elevated view looking towards the slopes of Pleney, so you can watch the skiers and boarders come down the slope as well as watching the weekly firework display from the comfort of the balcony.
In the entrance hall we have boot warmers and plenty of space for your outdoor gear and just outside the main door of the chalet there is a ski store for skis and snowboards. In the basement level there is a shower room and separate toilet so that we accommodate skiing on departure day followed by a hot shower! There is also a sauna which will help ease those aching muscles after a hard day on the slopes.

Floor Plans
Chalet Chouette has 3 levels starting fom the 2nd storey, The first floor has one twin/ensuite bedroom then the second level consists of the main living area with an open plan kitchen/dining and living area and 2 bedrooms then the 3rd floor has the large family room. Chalet Chouette and Chalet Hibou share a sauna/shower room on the ground level of the building and there are also heated boot warmers in the main entrance and secure ski storage outside the chalets.

Ski Hire At Chalet Chouette
Francois baud
We recommend Francois Baud Freeride situated at the bottom of Pleney telecabine. They offer a great choice of quality ski rental equipment at competitive prices and you will receive a discount as a Reach4thealps guest whether you pre book online or book when you arrive in resort. Staff are helpful & there is overnight heated storage for boots & skis so you don’t have to carry them the short distance to the Chalet. Pre-ordering is advised during peak weeks, Christmas, New Year and Half terms weeks.
DOORSTEP SKIS
Another delivery alternative is Doorstep Skis who will deliver your equipment to the chalet when you arrive. They offer a great choice of quality ski & board rental equipment at competitive prices and you will receive a discount as a Reach4thealps guest.
CARIBOU 2
For centrally located chalets we recommend Caribou 2 who have a new shop at the bottom of the Super Morzine lift. They offer a great choice of quality ski rental equipment at competitive prices and you will receive a discount as a Reach4thealps guest, staff are helpful. They also have an overnight ski storage facility. Pre-ordering is recommended for peak weeks such as New Year and February half term.
Ski Lessons At Chalet Chouette
The Portes du Soleil has an excellent selection of ski schools offering a variety of ski lessons including group classes or private lessons for the beginner through to the expert skier or snow boarder. You should book beginner lessons in Morzine as the Pleney bubble is the closest to our chalets and there is a dedicated beginners area at the top of the bubble. For intermediate or advanced skiers or boarders then you can book lessons in either Morzine or Avoriaz, please be aware you will need a full area Portes Du Soleil ski pass to access Avoriaz and further afield (any of the the pistes accessed from either the Super Morzine or Prodains lifts).

Childcare At Chalet Chouette
There is a good selection of childcare options in Morzine ranging from creche facilities to private nannies who come to the chalet. Morzine Childcare
The chalet was recently built and was very nice. Lovely rooms, stunning view of the mountains and very close to Pleney and Super Morzine lifts. Janine was excellent – the food was incredible and was a great end to a day’s skiing.
