Reach4thealps is a small private chalet company run by Gina and Marcus Ewart. We are both very keen skiers and love the outdoors, after many years of visiting the Alps on holiday and working several seasons doing all the chalet jobs possible from head chef to head loo cleaner we decided to set up on our own.

Last season was our 15th season running Reach4thealps and we now have a portfolio of 9 catered and 6 self-catered properties in the Morzine Les Gets area. All the chalets are of a high standard but what ensures our repeat rate stays high is the level of customer service, high standard of catering we offer along with the help of our staff which is why we need to continue to have motivated, capable and happy staff. Our chalets are highly ranked on TripAdvisor so we need to, as a minimum keep this ranking but ideally improve on these positions every year ! As it is our own business we take great pride in looking after our guests and ensuring they have a fantastic holiday.

Positions Available


We are looking for someone to be a key member in the Reach4thealps office all year round, working alongside Sian, our Chalet Manager and owners Gina and Marcus.

The key focus of this role will be on driving sales, marketing and customer service.

*Focus on driving sales by

Replying to email and phone enquiries
Keeping all availability up to date on our website and other websites that we advertise on
Having in depth knowledge of the chalets/properties, the resorts of Morzine & Les Gets and the service we offer (menu, lifts, dinner times etc)
Suggesting new ideas for improving our marketing and sales
Designing newsletters via Mailchimp

*Ensure a smooth booking process

By having a thorough understanding our booking system
Dealing with enquiries from agencies
Taking payments
Dealing with questions from guests with existing bookings (chasing and adding lift passes, transfers, dietary requirements to the bookings)

*Driving our online presence

Keeping our website up to date by ensuring content is refreshed using weekly blogs and news items
Updating pricing and promotions on our website and agency websites
Promoting R4TA actively on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and ensuring drives activity to our website
Finding and implementing opportunities for back links to other relevant companies and websites

*In chalet marketing and information

Producing Chalet Information books and in chalet marketing
Ensuring arrival instructions are up to date and guests have received them

*Occasional in resort transfers

The ability to drive a mini bus around resort with guests on the occasions it is needed

Key Attributes

*Enthusiastic, positive attitude

*Team player- small team, so we need to be supportive, flexible and have a laugh & be supportive of chalet staff

*Understand that customer service must be at the heart of what we do
*Highly organised and proactive

Key Skills

* Excellent computer skills, (quick typist) word, excel, google drive, photo editing, knowledge of word press
* Great attention to detail (quoting, taking payments, entering transfer details etc)
* Excellent interpersonal skills, be able to speak to people from all walks of life and keep calm under pressure
* A decent level of spoken French preferred
* Office experience and ideally in sales and/or marketing and or within the ski industry
* Numerical- able to work out pricing discounts and supplements


* Candidates should ideally have a degree or have relevant business experience
* Experience in digital marketing would be a benefit
* Ideally have hospitality experience or knowledge of the ski industry
* A clean driving licence


Package to be tailored to experience  but can include accommodation or allowance towards accommodation, use of vehicle, full area ski pass in winter, mountain insurance, weekly salary (either through British system or French), food/fuel allowance, ski or board hire for the winter season.


Winter 5 days a week, 2 days off and 1 or 2 days would be working a split shift so you can get out on the mountain.
Inter season and summer. 4 days a week

Ideally we are looking for someone to start in February or in March (even if part time) so we can do a handover with the current sales and marketing manager as it takes at least 6 months to get to grips with all the systems. We require a proper start date of the end of April in terms of working 4 days a week.
