Summer Events In Morzine & Les Gets 2024

Juin

June signals the begining of the biking season with weekend openings of some the lifts, followed by the full opening of the Portes Du Soleil area with the Passportes du Soleil event starting 28th June.

Summer 2024 Morzine and Les Gets Lift Opening Dates

Morzine Le Pleney: Weekends of 31st May to 2nd June and 7th to 9th of June (week-end seulement) et temps plein du 14th of June till 15th of September
Super Morzine – Avoriaz: 15th June to 15th of September
Les Gets : Weekends of the 26th to 29th May, 2nd to 4th June and 9th to the 11th June (week-end seulement) et temps plein du 15th June to the 17th of September
Tous les ascenseurs ouvrent avec le Passportes du Soleil événement de VTT du 28th June.

In addition, the Mountain Bike World Cup will be back again this year from 4th – 7th July!

Juillet

July sees the return of the well known Spartan Race on the 5th – 7th July, une épreuve d'endurance qui oblige les concurrents non seulement à gravir des montagnes, mais aussi à affronter des obstacles sur le chemin. La course passe par le village, donc si vous n'êtes pas assez en colère pour la faire, vous pouvez encourager les coureurs à la place.

The following week 11th – 14th July Harley Days arrives in town! This event sees thousand of Harley Davidson motorbikes and riders descend on the Morzine for organised rides and live music including Dire Straits amongst other things. It’s a unique atmosphere to experience, especially if you love motorbikes!

SEPTEMBRE

Another one for the petrol heads, the Mont Blanc Rally rolls into town on 5th – 7th September. With a variety of cars ranging from top level rally cars to classics, and almost everything in between, it’s a fantastic event for getting up close to motorsport on the challenging mountain roads and in beautiful surroundings.
