Summer Events In Morzine & Les Gets 2024

June

June signals the beggining of the biking season with weekend openings of some the lifts, followed by the full opening of the Portes Du Soleil area with the Passportes du Soleil event starting 28th June.

Summer 2024 Morzine and Les Gets Lift Opening Dates

Morzine Le Pleney:Weekends of 31st May to 2nd May and 7th to 9th of June (weekends only) & full time from the 14th of June till 15th of September
Super Morzine – Avoriaz: 15th June to 15th of September
Les Gets: Weekends of the 26th to 29th May, 2nd to 4th June and 9th to the 11th June (weekends only) & full time from the 15th June to the 17th of September
All lifts open with the Passportes du Soleil mountain biking event from the 28th June.

In addition, the Mountain Bike World Cup will be back again this year from 25th June – 7th July!

July

July sees the return of the well known Spartan Race on the 5th – 7th July, an endurance event that requires competitors to not only run up mountains, but to face obstacles on the way. The race comes through the village, so if you’re not mad enough to do it – you can cheer the runners on instead.

The following week 11th – 14th July Harley Days arrives in town! This event sees thousand of Harley Davidson motorbikes and riders descend on the Morzine for organised rides and live music including Dire Straits amongst other things. It’s a unique atmosphere to experience, especially if you love motorbikes!

SEPTEMBER

Another one for the petrol heads, the Mont Blanc Rally rolls into town on 5th – 7th September. With a variety of cars ranging from top level rally cars to classics, and almost everything in between, it’s a fantastic event for getting up close to motorsport on the challenging mountain roads and in beautiful surroundings.
