Summer Events In Morzine & Les Gets 2025

Morzine has a lot to offer in the summer Season, check out below for a list of events with something to suit everyone!

June

Summer Lift Openings

June 13th

June signals the begining of the biking season with weekend openings of some the lifts, followed by the full opening of the Portes Du Soleil area with the Passportes du Soleil event starting 27th June. To see our full list of lift Opening times and lift pass prices follow the link below.

Pass’Portes

June 27th, 28th & 29th

An unmissable start to the summer. Pass’Portes du Soleil invites you to explore the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil region through day-long tours by mountain bike, e-bike, gravel bike, on foot, or with kids. Enjoy local refreshments and breathtaking scenery on this one-of-a-kind mountain adventure.

Ultra Trail

20th – 22nd June

See the true beauty of the Portes du Soleil with the Ultra trail race. Choose from the Up & Down race, 23km, 50km and 100km courses.

July

Spartan

4th – 6th July

July sees the return of the well known Spartan Race on the 4th – 6th July, an endurance event that requires competitors to not only run up mountains, but to face obstacles on the way. The race comes through the village, so if you’re not mad enough to do it – you can cheer the runners on instead.

August

Le Tour de France Femmes

August 3rd

Stage 9 of the Tour de France de Femmes will be passing through Morzine on the 3rd August 2025. This stage consists of 124km starting on the Côte d’Arâches-la-Frasse (6.2km at 7.1%) and finishing at Pré laJoux, is steep as it passes through Châtel on the Route de la Bechigne.

Kids Kingdom

August 4th – 8th

Don’t miss these amazing free events for the kids this August. Each day at the tourist office square in Morzine from 10h – 19h there will be shows, music, workshops and so much more.

Trail des Hauts Forts

August 9th

This event is a must for mountain and trail lovers, the Trail des Hauts-Forts takes place each summer in Morzine, offering a stunning Alpine challenge. From experienced runners to outdoor adventurers, it’s the ultimate challenge in the perfect setting.

UCI Downhill, XC & Enduro World Cup 2025

August 21st – 31st August

Join us for the UCI Downhill, XC & Enduro World Cup in August 2025 to see the worlds best in downhill mountain biking.

Triathlon Montriond-Morzine-Avoriaz

August 23rd

Open to all levels, experience the ultimate mountain triathlon.

An exhilarating course designed for triathlon enthusiasts: it kicks off with a swim in the stunning lake Montriond, continues with a legendary bike climb up to Avoriaz and back into Morzine, and wraps up with a scenic run along the banks of the Dranse. For more info follow the link below.

Mont Blanc Rally

4th – 6th September

Another one for the petrol heads, the Mont Blanc Rally rolls into town on 4th – 6th September.

With a variety of cars ranging from top level rally cars to classics, and almost everything in between, it’s a fantastic event for getting up close to motorsport on the challenging mountain roads and in beautiful surroundings.
