What better way to see the spectacular views of Morzine and Les Gets than from above? Paragliding, or parapenting as it’s called in France, is one of the most popular activities here in Morzine and when the weather is good the sky is a full of multicoloured parachutes. It isn’t for the faint hearted as it sees you launch yourself off the side of a mountain however once in the air the views are breathtaking! You’ll take off from the super Morzine side of the valley and float down, landing somewhere at the base of the Pleney.
A number of companies around Morzine and Les Gets offer Parapenting expeditions. You’ll most likely be on a tandem jump with an instructor however there are other options for the more experienced. This is very much a fair weather activity so pick your day. There are also children’s jumps available if your little one is keen to have a go, just ask when booking.
