Big news from Reach4thealps HQ…. One of our newest and most impressive self catered properties will be run as a catered chalet next year. Ferme de la Couttetaz is in an amazing location in a quiet spot right in the centre of Morzine and has proven so popular that we felt it would be sad not to give its visitors the full Reach4thealps treatment.

Ferme de la Couttetaz is an old farmhouse renovation just down the road from the tourist office square in Morzine. It sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms and has the most amazing garden with a hot tub and incredible views of Avoriaz. The chalet also has its own sauna, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing ski holiday.

Over the last couple of years, it has been run as a self catered property and has pretty much sold out each season. Its modern decor and stunning open plan lounge and dining room have proven really popular. Next year, it will have its own Reach4thealps host who will provide breakfast, afternoon tea and dinners at the chalet.

• Slow Braised Balsamic Lamb with Dauphinoise Potatoes, Braised Red Cabbage, Parsnip Puree & Buttered Baby Carrots
• Ballotine of Chicken with Black Pudding, Swede & Carrot Puree, Spinach, Hassel Back Potatoes & Whisky Sauce
• Vegetarian Haggis Parcel, Carrot and Swede Puree, Spinach, Hassel Back Potatoes & Whisky Sauce
• Garlic & Chilli Marinated Pork Tenderloin

As well as catering, the host at Ferme de la Couttetaz will also do daily cleans of the chalet and help you have an amazing holiday to remember for all the right reasons! You’re literally moments from the ski lifts at this fantastic property and we can’t wait to see what you think of it!

Raclette nights

Another new addition to the Reach4thealps offering, is that we are going to be introducing Savoyard Raclette nights to our menu. We’ve listened to what you want and so many of you have asked for a specialist night like this that we had to take action! So now, out of the 6 nights catered of a week long holiday with Reach4thealps, one of these nights will be dedicated to a Raclette! Think melted cheese over delicious meat and vegetables. They really are delicious. Raclettes are also extremely sociable and fun- you can eat as little or as much as you want! Don’t worry, there will also be a delicious dessert on these evenings as well.
