Winter

L'Érigné in winter is a nice place to visit with young kids as there is a big igloo there that you can explore. There is a traditional alpine restaurant right by the bus stop for getting some lunch or a nice warm drink before heading back into town either by the bus, or it is possible on foot. The walk back to town is along the river path and will take you back to Nyon telecabine where you can then join the Chemin du Renard for the final stretch to Morzine centre. It is on a slight downhill, so bring a sledge for the little ones and they can enjoy the trip back in sledge.

The trail is gentle, but appropriate winter winter boots/snowshoes are recommended due to snow.

Summer

Lac Min D'or is a picturesque lake set between the mountains.

From here you can enjoy a gentle tour of the lake or tackle one of the surrounding peaks.  There are benches by the lake to enjoy a picnic or you can walk to one the restaurants; Le Chalet des Mines D'or, La Crapahutte, or down to Érigné for lunch.
