Morzine and the Portes du Soleil mountain biking area are among some the best spots in Europe for mountain biking and are considered a mountain biking Mecca by many.

Hiking and Walks around Morzine

Swimming & Water Sports

Swimming is the perfect family activity for your holiday during the winter and summer months alike. Choose from large indoor pools, the tropical-themed Aquariaz and, in summer months, stunning mountain lakes for a more natural swimming experience.

White Water Rafting

White water rafting is exhilarating fun for anyone aged 7 and up! Navigate grade 3 and 4 rapids in an inflatable raft, guided by experts who make the trip even more thrilling.

Wibit Waterpark, Les Gets

The Wibit is an inflatable water park on Lac des Écoles in Les Gets. Designed to be enjoyed by both children and adults, this fun watersport challenge will see you racing to complete the course, jumping across lily pads, launching your family and friends from catapults and climbing an inflatable wall to slide down the epic water slide or choose to jump from the top to make a splash directly to the lake below!

Paragliding

What better way to take in the spectacular views of Morzine than from above? Paragliding, or parapenting as it’s known in France, is one of the most popular activities in the area. On good weather days, the sky is dotted with multicoloured parachutes, creating a mesmerising sight.
Canyoning in Morzine

Canyoning

Canyoning in Morzine is an exhilarating and challenging adventure. Over thousands of years, the Nyon River has carved and shaped the canyon to form a natural water park. On your journey down the river, you will face natural water slides, rock pools, and waterfalls.

Ropes Course In The Trees

Morzine is home to some fantastic ropes courses, perfect for adventure seekers of all ages. Indiana Adventure Park, located along the river near the Morzine swimming pool, and the Nyon high ropes course, near the waterfall just outside town, offer thrilling experiences.

Via Ferrata and Rock Climbing in Morzine

The term “via ferrata” comes from Italian, meaning ‘iron way’. Originally used by the Italian army to move troops and equipment over difficult terrain in the Alps, it has now become a popular recreational activity

Fantasticable

Fly one of the worlds highest zip wires. If you have a head for heights and crave a bit of exhilaration, this adventure is for you. There is no age restriction for the Fantasticable, but participants must weigh between 35 and 120 kilos

Lindarets Goats Village

This charming spot, filled with mountain restaurants and souvenir shops, is overrun by friendly goats!

Pony & Donkey Rides

Experience scenic mountain spots on horseback! Ride through the Parc des Dereches, around picturesque mountain lakes, or take a day trip through the valley.

Playing golf in the Portes du Soleil is an unbeatable experience. Imagine teeing off with the majestic peak of Mont Blanc in the background!

Fishing

Fishing enthusiasts will find several excellent spots in Morzine, including Lac Des Mines D’Or, Lake Montriond, and the Plan du Rocher lake. Additionally, the Dranse River, which flows through Morzine, is renowned for being a spawning ground for the highly sought-after Lake Geneva trout.
