Lindarets Goats Village

A family must-see is the enchanting Lindarets Goats Village. This charming spot, filled with mountain restaurants and souvenir shops, is overrun by friendly goats!

Meet the Locals

An interactive and entertaining experience, visiting the goats at Lindarets is popular among adults and children alike! You can purchase goat food to feed the goats who are well habituated to humans and will happily eat straight from your hand.

While a bit smelly, the sight of goats clambering everywhere and stubbornly refusing to move for bikers and walkers is delightful. It's a major hit with kids and a unique adventure for the whole family!

The Village of Les Lindarets

Located above Montriond in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Les Lindarets is made up of traditional wooden chalets, mountain restaurants, cafés, and small shops surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery. Visitors can stroll through the village while charismatic goats wander between terraces, pathways, and gardens looking for treats and attention from visitors.

The village is also a fantastic base for summer walks and mountain biking, with nearby trails leading towards waterfalls, alpine lakes, and panoramic viewpoints. Many visitors combine a trip to Les Lindarets with a visit to Brochaux waterfall, the Lac de Montriond, or to explore the ski village of Avoriaz for a full day in the mountains.
