Morzine is home to the Morzine Hockey Club, fondly known as “Les Penguins.” If there’s a match on during your stay, don’t miss it! It’s a thrilling activity for the whole family, filled with noise, excitement, and fantastic action on the ice. 

By day, the ice rink is open for public skating, but by night, it transforms into an exhilarating sporting arena. Watching Les Penguins play is a memorable experience that adds a unique touch to your visit to Morzine.

There’s always some sort of match happening, whether it’s an exhibition game, a playoff, or an official league match. 

Ticket prices range from €10 for adults to €17 for more competitive matches. The rink has a bar, so you can make a night of it, but remember—it’s pretty chilly inside, so don’t forget your coat and gloves!

Where are the matches on? 

All matches take place at the Palais des Sports in Morzine, also known as the Skoda Arena. Located under the suspension bridge in the town centre, it’s right next to the swimming pool and sports complex. If you’re looking for a night out with a difference, attending a hockey match is the perfect option!
