Sledging

An activity for Everyone

Throughout the winter season in Morzine, there are dedicated, safe and exciting sledging areas for you to enjoy the snow away from the ski slopes. Whether it’s young children experiencing their first snowy adventure or groups looking for some après-ski fun, sledging is a fantastic way to make the most of the mountains.

Night Sledging

There’s nothing quite like the night sledging experience in Morzine. It’s fun, exhilarating and is a really unique way to spend some extra time on the slopes after hours.

Night sledging takes place at the top of the Pleney once skiing has finished for the day. Equipped with a sledge and a head torch, you are led down Piste B (edge of the Pleney) by your guides, back to the lively apres bars at the bottom of the slopes. This is sledging as you've yet to enjoy - you’ll be lucky if you manage to stay in your sledge the whole way down! Guided tours take place most evenings.

Family sledging

There are great spots in Morzine and Les Gets to go sledging as a family. In Les Gets, at the bottom of the Chavannes, there’s a dedicated area for families with small children. For families in Morzine, there is a gentle sledging slope next to Restaurant Nabor at the top of the Pleney to enjoy sledging with a view, or, for a bigger slope, the base of the Pleney is a popular sledging spot because you can also have a couple of drinks at any of the bars that back onto the piste.

Most sports shops rent sledges out for very little, making this a cheap and fun way to keep the family entertained for hours.

Your winter of adventure starts here.
