The Morzine Aquatic Centre

The Morzine Aquatic Centre swimming complex is a true gem, offering an indoor 25m pool alongside two smaller pools for children, perfect for bad weather days or as a fun apres-ski activity. The indoor pools are surrounded by snowy mountain scenery, and for the ultimate post-ski relaxation, there are on-site spa facilities to be enjoyed. Unwind in the wellness area complete with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

In the summer months, the outdoor Olympic-sized pool (50m x 21m) opens as well as a shallow children’s pool, and a baby pool with slides and water jets. It's the perfect place to spend a hot summers day with plenty to keep everyone entertained. The outdoor area includes a large water slide, bouncy castle, table tennis and beach volleyball pitches. Relax around the pool on sun loungers or on the surrounding grassy areas with a picnic or, choose to have lunch at the on-site bar and restaurant.  

Unlimited access to the Morzine Aquatic centre is included in the Multi Pass, meaning guests staying in Morzine with a Multi Pass can enjoy this fantastic facility for free! 

Aquariaz

Aquariaz in Avoriaz, offers a unique alpine water experience. Set at 1,800 metres, this tropical-themed water park is designed as an aquatic paradise in the mountains. It features a river with a gentle current, an aquatic halfpipe, a water playhouse, a paddling pool, a larger pool with a climbing wall, and a Tarzan rope swing. For relaxation, there are massage benches and an open-air jacuzzi heated to 34°C with panoramic mountain views. Aquariaz is perfect for a day of family fun on both good and bad weather days, making it one of the areas most popular family attractions.

Swimming in the lakes & Water sports

In the summer months, nothing beats swimming in the natural Alpine lakes surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Enjoy a swim at the lake in Les Gets, Lake Montriond, or take a short 40-minute drive down the valley to the majestic Lake Geneva.

The lake at Les Gets 

Manned by lifeguards from June 28th to August 31st. FREE with the Multi Pass. The water temperature averages 22 degrees throughout the summer. There is a designated paddling area for babies and toddlers, a water slide, a children’s playground, a beach volleyball pitch, table tennis, and a fun wibit park (inflatable assault course on the water). Picnic tables, self-service barbecues, and a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake are also on offer for a perfect spot for a meal with a view.

Lake Montriond 

A vast lake ideal for swimming and water sports. It features a smaller, shallow lake perfect for families, complete with a mini waterfall and beach area that kids love. Lifeguards are on duty at the smaller lake during July and August. The larger lake, with an average summer temperature of 19 degrees, offers kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals.

Highly recommended for those on an extended holiday. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for a variety of water sports, including stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, or pedalo rentals. Alternatively, you can visit one of the many free beaches at Amphion, Sciez, or Port De Sechez.

    Fishing enthusiasts will find several excellent spots in Morzine, including Lac Des Mines D’Or, Lake Montriond, and the Plan du Rocher lake. Additionally, the Dranse River, which flows through Morzine, is renowned for being a spawning ground for the highly sought-after Lake Geneva trout.
