White Water Rafting

Experience the river Dranse like never before

The Dranse is a wild river known to be well varied and dynamic, making it perfect for amateurs and experts alike. Whether you are new to white waters or an experienced hand, there are a variety of ways to enjoy the river with activities adapted for all levels.

White Water Rafting

White water rafting is exhilarating fun for anyone aged 7 and up! Navigate grade 3 and 4 rapids in an inflatable raft, guided by experts who make the trip even more thrilling. Rafting meets coasteering as you jump off small cliffs into swirling waters, cool off by floating down sections of the fast-flowing water or ask the guides to capsize the raft for added fun and excitement.

For those with some rafting experience, the “rafting spéciale” offers an extended adventure, featuring three additional rapids, lasting an hour and a half instead of the usual hour.

For the truly adventurous, the “rafting intégrale” provides a full 2-hour journey down even more challenging rapids further upriver.

Canorafting and Hydrospeeding

In addition to rafting, you can try two more adrenaline-pumping water activities: canorafting and hydrospeed. These unique and thrilling ways offer an alternate way to revel in the dynamic and exciting white waters.
Both Canorafting and Hydrospeeding require participants to be over 14 and able to swim.
Canorafting

Canorafting is a more hands-on adventure compared to rafting. Instead of being on an 8-person raft, you and a partner navigate the rapids in an inflatable canoe, joining a group of fellow rafters. A guide in his own canoe accompanies the group, ensuring a fun and safe route down the river.

Hydrospeed

For the truly adventurous, Hydrospeeding provides a unique thrill. Wearing a padded wetsuit, helmet, flippers, and using a float, you “swim” down the rapids under the watchful eye of a qualified guide.
