Summer Lift Openings
June marks the beginning of the biking season with staggered lift openings throughout the month. The full opening of the Portes Du Soleil area is at the end of June, celebrated with the Passportes du Soleil event starting on the 27th June.
In July, all lifts are open, giving full access to the Portes du Soleil network
In August, lifts remain open for the entirety of the month, giving full access to the Portes du Soleil network
September marks the close of the season; however, there is generally still the opportunity to get in some late-season riding in the first 2 weeks of the month. Be sure to check the official Portes du Soleil website to stay up to date on expected lift and park closures.

Pony & Donkey Rides
A favorite activity for children under 5 is riding a Shetland pony or its Alpine equivalent. Donkey rides are also popular at Lac De Mines D’Or, where you can either hire a guide or enjoy a half-day adventure with your own donkey.

Fishing enthusiasts will find several excellent spots in Morzine, including Lac Des Mines D’Or, Lake Montriond, and the Plan du Rocher lake. Additionally, the Dranse River, which flows through Morzine, is renowned for being a spawning ground for the highly sought-after Lake Geneva trout.
